Overview:

Auditions for the 2023 - 2024 Purdue Dance Team will consist of a video submission and an in-person finalist audition. The first round will begin on Sunday, April 2nd when the link for choreography is emailed to registered dancers at 5pm EST. Dancers must submit videos to the 2023-2024 Purdue Dance Team Auditions link on our website (Audition tab) by Sunday, April 9th at 12pm EST.

 

Dancers moving on to the final round of auditions will be notified via email by Saturday, April 15th at 5pm EST. The final round of auditions will be in person on April 22nd beginning at 1pm at Studio b in Lafayette, IN. No virtual option for the final round will be available.

Video submission information:

Video submissions must be one continuous take (dancers may take a quick break, but the camera must continue rolling). Please record the video as follows:

 

Introduction (First and Last Name)

Leaps and turns combination 

Jazz combination

Pom combination

Dancer's leaps and turns combination of choice (must have one leap, one turn, and one elite level trick or skill)

30 seconds of improv (no choreographed material and skills or technique)

Please wear form-fitting, all black attire.
